Sometimes, when I pop those airbags, I wonder where the air came from. China? India? Detroit? Maybe the nicer brands of airbags import their air from Switzerland.
I'm waiting for the day when those air bags and bubble wrap get recalled because the air inside them is toxic.
That not only would be creepy, but hilarious as anything.
I not only keep those but I also keep sticky labels and price tags. . . The sticky labels I like to stick on things till the sticky runs out. Why waste sticky?!?!?! The price tags I keep in a neat little pile so when I get frustrated I can tear off the perforated paper. Its almost as soothing as popping bubbles.

They sell big boxes of bubble wrap where I work. I know in my heart of hearts that it's only a matter of time before I cave in and buy the biggest one and take it home just to pop. :D

What have you done to me?!
Up until a few weeks ago, I had never read your comic. Now I've read everyone of them, I talk like a little girl (more than usual, at least), and check at least 4 times a day just to see if you've updated.
-laughs- Actually, I just thought I'd say thanks for writing these comics. They've brightened up my past few weeks.

I'm trying to figure out how people could say the air is toxic all it is a air pump hooked up to a large sealed already cut thin plastic tube where they have a machine with a heated panel or rod ( depends on if you doing bubble wrap or the air bags ) that seals/compress the ends and continue the process from there and when the length is fulfilled for the order of the shipment they cut it if need be and ship it off it it's bubble wrap. personally I like those bags of expanding foam that if you pull the tab the foam expands and forms around the item perfectly(with a plastic covering over it of course so you can get it out) that stuff is fun to mess with.

I save all my boxes and the packaging stuff in them just so I don't have to buy them when I need to ship somethin'. I have a couple of air bags sitting around but probably won't use them anytime soon--but it's always there in case I run out of air I guess.

Sure! I'll try to get it up this weekend :)
The "air bags" are the kind of newish way to insulate a package, instead of styrofoam packing peanuts? I don't know, I thought they were a pretty neat idea when I first saw them.
We dont have those in New Zealand........ that I know of
they are like giant things of bubble wrap, but theres only one of them, and they sound awesome when they splode. you can scare the bajeebus out of anyone

I'm gonna have to agree with Dr. Sardonicus--it's hard to only come back to check for an update once a week (yet somehow, I always come back in the pretense that I'm checking for blog updates).
Anyhowser, I just wanna say that Trev has the greatest expressions EVAR! I wish I had a cute boyfriend like him. :3

General Specific, u are not alone. and sad thing is, i look like that too when i pop teh bubble thingies. i also played mean trick on someone with those. i got empty pillow case, placed like 5 of em in it, left it on my cousin's fav siting spot, and when he sat on the pillow, he got scared so bad he actually paniced. and then he kicked my butt because he heard me laughing and he knew what happened.....*sigh* it was worth it. shoulda gotten it on video

It's probably some old mans job to blow air into them all by mouth.

I have non-toxic biodegradable packing peanuts. Not advertised as edible but they technically are. :D

It's especially easy to scare dogs with them. Believe me I have four.
I think it would be awesome if they were filled with helium.

You, good sir, are demented. I like it.
I'm still baffled as to why she's grabbing her right boob in the center panel....
