I still feel the need to justify my anime habit to most people. And... when I saw Lain on the shelf and read the box it sounded cool. That was back when I had plenty of cash and not much to do with it, so I bought it. I kept thinking it was going to make sense at some point, but when it ended and I still didn't know what was going on... I thought about it for a few days but I never could quite grasp what I'd watched. Really crazy show.

I have a friend in university who plays this EXACT role. He comes into uni, opens up his bag, and starts passing out manga while people return previously borrowed material to him. I call him a crack dealer. "WHERE'S MY CRACK MAN???" "Sorry dude, I forgot today" "WWWWHHHHHYYYYYY?????" X_x

<3 Lain! I'd seen a few anime's prior to Lain, but that's the one that really got me to start buying anime.
The only anime I've ever really seen is Cowboy Bebop. Which I think is pretty cool, but I got into it via the soundtrack... yeah.
