Ah, the clash of glasses - all you need now is to have taking them off as second nature too!

Mind you, it probably won't take long. You don't need the bridge of your nose crushed too many times...

After 17 years of spec-wearing, and getting used to varifocals as well, I still don't like them though.

I've been wearing mine for 18 years and I could not imagine being without them xD

I've been wearing mine for 22 years and never had an opportunity to practice face-snuggling. This comic makes me afraid I'm going to hurt myself if I get a girlfriend. :I

Switch to contacts is my advice. They are much comfier, and there is no need to worry about flattening them (e.g when you're lying down reading a book). They won't cause Trevor bodily harm either (as an added bonus I mean ;) )

I've actually had bruises on the bridge of my nose (on both sides) from laying on my side with glasses while reading. It was pretty funny explaining that to people who noticed!

Well that's a personal choice really. I find that contacts hurt me a lot when I wear them :C Even if I get the "breathable" ones, I still get dry itchy eyes, and I tend to fall asleep random places, so that was a problem when I wore contacts because they would roll back in my eye lids if I fell asleep in class :/ Even though everyone says its better, I find that I can't do it. And not only that, but doctors say that contacts can cause lack of oxygen to your eyes and screw them up :C You need to have glasses with contacts to give your eyes a rest to avoid that.

Yes! This happens to us ALL THE TIME. Sometimes I take them off before nuzzles... other times I poke fun at Steph for getting crease on them BEFORE I remember to take them off :P

Now, try that with two sets of glasses! It's double trouble.

I was more fortunate than that - I had several decades of relatively good sight before having to wear them for anything close - which is now anything less than about 2 metres/about 7 feet. I've been told that contact lenses are out of the question, and laser surgery probably is too.

The other really annoying thing with glasses is when you forget you're wearing them, and try to put on any item of clothing with a relatively small neck, like a T-shirt...

I keep trying to rub my eyes and smudging up my glasses :(

If I rub my eyes, it moves the varifocals up, and the whole world moves - non-linearly!

That is definitely something to get used to. Another thing I notice with people who are fairly new at wearing glasses is that they are HORRIBLE at noticing when they're glasses are dirty and unusable. They also tend to look over the lenses when doing everyday things and then complain of headaches later. Its certainly different than when your eyes are independent.
When I wore contacts for the first time, I was really freaked out because there was nothing on my face xD I would have a panic attack every few hours wondering when my glasses went. >.>

When my son was younger (he is nine now), I would take off my glasses and we would do a "face smoosh". It was an awesome feeling, sensing his essence just inches from mine. Just thinking about it makes me want to do it to him the moment I get home (I'm on a road trip right now).

Nothing says love like a great face smoosh!

Just wondering, now that the Stanley Cup playoffs have started (and the Canucks have the overall top seed), will Nordicques beards make it hard to eye-snuggle? Eh?
