Yep. That is very accurate, especially December and July.
Not sure where you're from, but in my neck of Hoosierland (Indianapolis) we can get up to 90°+ during the Summer months; so lots of sweat, sunburn, road construction and capricious weather (sudden rains, Tornado warnings) are the things that we usually have to contend with.
Wow. I would melt in my saddle with those temps. I live in the Netherlands and I guess thats about a 1000km north. So less hot summers, but I guess you dont have to content with the very long nights of winter.
Oh, no; we do have to contend with long Winter nights. (Mainly the last half of January through the first half of February.) But once that's over with the days start becoming noticeably longer and the weather (usually) starts improving a bit.
Man you Vancouverites have it easy.
I've bicycled out here in the Canadian Prairies when it was -35, and in the middle of snow storms.
Sheesh. "Oh, I'm suffering so much for my bicycle commute where it's warm all year around." Give me a break.
There's a reason why I live in Seattle instead of some place in the prairies. I assume you probably feel similar about Vancouver.
BTW, I have to commend you on the use of space, positioning, and borderless panels to reinforce the comic's message. Kind of obvious but it works.
Even on its worse days it beats the bus!!!
