You know you're a city girl when... lol. I'm no better. The first time I saw a cow take a dump after leaving Vancouver, I nearly cracked a rib from laughing so hard. I still get a chuckle out of it and I've lived in cow country Canada for... almost ten years now... wow... I need to get a life if that still makes me laugh... :D

Professional librarian conferences are weird, at least in the States. You have never seen a con line as long as the one for meeting Neil Gaiman at a conference with 33,000 rabid librarians. Also, there are some crazy parties. Seriously. I'm told the government documents librarians usually just book an entire hotel and have a wild time.
