Very nice, it made my day...
Then there's the Welsh version

Leveraging Yearly Lentil Yield Wastelessly?
Because Wales is famous for it's [possessive] lentil bumper crops.
E-I-E-I-O. Enforce In-Order Execution of I/O. (Assembly mnemonic for an operation on PowerPC processors.)
That can't be anything but deliberate either :D
Here's to thinking outside the box! Good goin', JAM.
Oh, JAMMIE. you never fail to impress. XD
Haha! This made my morning.
That's amazing if it was spontaneous.
This made my day. Thanks Jam <3
I knew that acronyms were created purposfuly so that they were funhy/an actuall word.
This is why I should never be allowed to name things or approve names of things. Customers would eventually realize I was making fun of them pretty mercilessly. Cleverness would be rewarded. Snarky cleverness doubly so.
Yes... reminds me of something we got from Philips years ago when they first started making vidicon picture pickup tubes - the precursor to the CCD devices that are now ubiquitous. These produced rather variable amounts of visible noise, and even on a good one you used to get strange noise artefacts around the edge. When we asked the Philips engineers about this, they cheerily replied "Oh don't worry about that, it's just parc noise".
Not wishing to appear too daft, we just accepted that without too much enquiry of them, and went away to look it up. Needless to say we couldn't find any reference to it at all. So eventually we went back a little sheepishly and asked them what it was. They confessed that honestly they didn't know. So to stop customers asking too many questions, they just gave it a suitable name and reversed it...
Or it could refer in a derogatory way to the XEROX PARC (Palo Alto Research Center), although I never noticed the reverse pattern...bet it has significance. :P
I near sporfled my cereal when I saw this. Just re-read the whole archive and this made me laugh hardest of any of them.
You are my hero!
