Red shirts, are you part of ARMA?

Nah. Red shirts are worn by instructors at Academie Duello.

...so that you can't see it if they bleed (okay, that's probably not why).

Neat! You don't see much in the way of European Martial Arts academies. You can find boxing and MMA gyms, but they're (if we're honest) still sports. I'd love to learn Bartitsu. If I'm stuck with a cane, I'd like it to be an asset and not a hinderence in a fight.

I saaaaaaaw! It looks so COOL! Though I'd feel obligated to show up wearing a three-piece suit and a fancy hat of some sort. Unfortunately, I live in Rochester, New York. So it's a bit of a hike even for something THAT cool. There's very little for European Martial Arts in this neck of the woods, unfortunately.

Well, there are no rules AGAINST showing up in Victorian formal wear...

I wonder if there are advanced courses: "How to avoid tea being flung at one's face" "The art of standing between a lady and an approaching carriage on a rainy day so as to get only your topcoat dirty" or "Silly Walks for Self Defense".
