sugary sugar coated sugar cubes... maybe you weren't depressed, he was just to happy
Gawd I love your comic :)
I have GOT to get me some of that cereal. Also, teehee, there is a robot on your couch ^_^
Word.
When I get depressed, I usually just have a couple of drinks and unplug for a while by playing a game, or watching some tv. Not that I'm that plugged in anyway. Though once I start getting paid again, I'll be busier, starting up a few websites and stuff.
Oh, btw, first time using Word in such a context, yay me!
When I get depressed my boyfriend just hugs me till I'm better cuz hugs make eeeeverything better ^^
Oh, boy I love Jam's expression in that last panel!! It is very much akin to "The Look" that my wife gives me when I say something that displeases her or derails her intended action. With love, of course.
Swirly eye is never a good sign!
Awww, seasonal affective disorder is such a plight!
I'd suggest a diet.
It could be a good idea to enhance your intake of tryptophan, an amino-acid, precursor of serotonin among other things. Good sources of tryptophan are numerous.
IIRC, you're a flexitarian, and the good news is, animal flesh is not necessary for a tryptophan-rich diet: see the Dietary sources section of the Wikipedia article on tryptophan for more details. I have a preference for cheese, but that may be because I'm French :). Vive le fromage qui pue !*
Enhancing your intake in magnesium could be a good idea too, for general physiological well-being (and resistance to cold). To quote Wikipedia again: "Spices, nuts, cereals, coffee, cocoa, tea, and vegetables are rich sources of magnesium. Green leafy vegetables such as spinach are also rich in magnesium as they contain chlorophyll which is rich in magnesium." More details here. They just forgot to mention bananas and apricots, which are good sources too. Special mention to cocoa, which contains phenylethylamin, an alcaloid with antidepressant properties.
With all this, there are plenty of awesome meals to imagine. Which counts as a double-bonus: an anti-depressant diet doesn't need to be dull - which would be contrary to the whole point.
* Hurray for stinky cheese!
Ah, a shave and a haircut!
... Is that a BLOOD SPLATTER on the wall is Panel 2? And really I wish it was that easy. WE MUST SEARCH OUT SUNSHINE!!!!
@aj2x - That is my standard face, I look like that basically 90% of the time hahaha
@Schmorgluck - if you think my diet is low in coffee and chocolate I think you have misjudged me! :P Oh I see my diet is too low in Caribou, that must be it.
@Missjulia - Yes, the blood of our victims. Just kidding! Trevor put a weird decal of an exploding feather on our wall. I will see if I can find a photo to put up later...
i wanna box of sugary sugar-coated sugar cubes >w<
The exploding feather, probably: http://www.whatisblik.com/shop/birds-of-a-feather
Also cereals like sugary sugar-coated sugar cubes are good for winter unhappiness and add needed insulation against the cold!
HAHA! Milk in a bottle that's amazing 8'D
@Icy - yep, that's the one! (Explody feather on the wall) Thanks :)
I'm a grownup, therefore I can put stickers on my wall? :/
@Trogo - The organic stuff comes in that
I wanna see you guys play WOW again like : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiI2P-ZRCds
YAY! He fixed!
trevor = best therapist EVAR heh
also, i want that cereal :D
That's adorable. XD Reminds me of how I try to beat (figuratively, mind you - he's twice my size and weight!) my brother out of depression...
i annoy my fiancee outta depression... either that or give her 3 ice pops
I felt the need to make you aware that the parallels between myself and this illustrated comic are astounding. A friend reads this and thought it was me, and started suggesting new comic ideas. Especially the jerky with my dad comic... i mean your dad... don't ever stop drawing!
*DELETED TEXT*
Go me. Thinking after speaking as usual.
BOOP!
I FIX I FIX I FIX.
(I've totally done that before)
Is that a Pusher Robot that has come to save you from the Terrible Secret of Space? The shoving Robot though think it is far superior though.
