Nah, we've had a disproportionate amount of sun in this part of the world, this winter. That's sunrise through the window (something not common in winter Vancouver)

Isn't that the truth? Sunlight'll kill you if you go up skiing/snowboarding on a day like those we've been getting so many of. I've been enjoying this pattern of "a couple days of good powder, followed by a couple days of perfect clarity" we've seen this winter.

And the clarity of winter air makes it incredibly bright when it does happen. Even by the sun's standards of brightness.
