My phone (sadly, not very 'smart') still has a physical qwerty. I've not really used swype texting, but I can't imagine it working for me. I have it turned off on my Nook because it kept messing me up. >.< I'm also the 2% that turn off tap-clicking on her laptop, though. I guess touch screen just isn't my thing.

I actually went out of the way to get a physical keyboard on my phone because the on screen only versions drive me crazy, so don't feel too bad. (I too turn off the tap to click. I accedently click on things too many times otherwise.)

Back in the day alls I had was T9... which was supposed to learn from what you typed but forever insisted that the name Amanda did not exist while recognizing every alterante spelling of Katherine, even ones that I made up as far as I knew, and continually tried to replace my sister's name with "Hey stupid"...
I still like swype, when I'm not anxiously racing to put words in it does a pretty good job, and it's fun as heck. My poor old phone just gets confused sometimes... :)
