That's nothing, first year Physics labs are on floor 4, on floor 5 or 6 (I forget) are the positron generation thing-umys and radiactive sources and goodness knows what else. I don't think the floors are that well shielded either.... Good thing I don't want kids ^_^
eh you think that was bad planning. One of the buildings in at one of the Local High schools is Sinking it was a 1 story building if you walk up to it it's about 5 feet off the ground. they have the windows boarded up and from my understanding the it's flooded. ( way to go Engineers who decided to Build on soft soil that was placed upon swamp land)
Ha, my highschool -should- have been a disaster zone. It was build on mangroves, but nothing sank. Which is good. However there are oodles of powerlines running directly overhead, and an alarming number of teachers have come down with Cancer whilst working there. One of them died. It was a bit stink.
