THE CANUCKS ARE IN THE STANLEY CUP FINALS!
(Translation for the non-Hockey types: our hockey team might win Hockey's most coveted prize!) It's been seventeen years since we've been this close, can you believe it!? We're in the contest against the Boston Bruins :o
The whole city has been buzzing with excitement during the playoffs, the end of this series will either be the most wonderful or the most horrible thing to happen to Vancouver in recent memory.

This is the first year where I consistently followed a hockey team for the playoffs. One of you fellow British Columbians from the net got me hooked. We'll see if that's good or bad after the Canucks win the cup!

I was wondering what was going on epic-beard wise. Also, I'm rooting for the Canucks partly due to your comic and partly due to the co-worker of mine who is from Boston and will not shut up about any of the teams from there.
I live in Boston, so I... no, wait, actually I don't care. I didn't even know our team was in this hocky world cup series or whatever.
YES! I am stoked on the Canucks making it to the playoffs and into the Finals! I hope they win!
I doubt they'll take it in 4, but it'll definitely be a 6 or 7 game series. And, please, Vancouver, if you happen to lose, PLEASE no riots, eh? That was embarassing for me to explain.

I feel that Canucks will win, as they should since they dominated everyone, but I would like to see the Bruins win.
PS: I am a Coyotes fan. So if the Bruins lose then I am use to it.

I try to grow a beard everytime the Canucks are in the Playoffs, but usually they are out by the time I get to the scratchy/itchy homeless dude look. Not this year though, my chin has neve been hairier!

That is one of my favorite comics. I think "no more hockey times" everytime the Sabres are eliminated from the playoffs.
