But really, that's quite good - even in his bewildered state he clearly doesn't need to tell you the same thing; that's just assumed. And he's clearly still got a sense of ironic humour! Anyway, wish him a speedy recovery, please.

Yikes...please tell me he's not actually intubated. Not a whole lot of things that call for that, and they're all particularly unpleasant.

No, it's a pain medication delivered by inhaler. I don't know much more about it than that. Based on our collective crappy memories we think it was probably Penthrane.

Dislocated elbow. The bones at the elbow joint are not properly aligned. Putting the bones back in alignment hurts.

I had to undergo this surgery/treatment when I was a kid! Come on, he should be more careful and take care of himself. can't let such injuries happen repeatedly.
