He must have pretty bad handwriting :P
god thats the worst... many F reminds me...
in 1990, I took Feedback & Control Systems @ McMaster w/ Dr. N.K. Sinha. He started lecture 1 saying we would be solving equations in "Essaskwed". We all gave him puzzled looks while he kept repeating "essaskwed". Then he went to the chalkboard and {wrote} while he said: "Ess" {S} "eskwed" {superscript 2}. ... and the lights went on throughout the lecture hall.
Wait, why was ^2 'eskwed'?
T is not weird for kinetic energy, it's just Annalitical Mechanics notation... it's also the only unmistakeable letter in teacherscribble
I never could figure out how to write the greek letter zeta, so I resorted to using a Pound symbol, £ (as in Pounds Sterling, UK currency).
So my exams and assignments in those subjects always started with a little explanation - "Being able to write zeta correctly isn't on the syllabus; I'm going to use this instead" 8-)
sideways eight thingy. :3
