What does the fine print on the business card say? Kinda hard to read that small, yet I suspect that is your punch line.
"some rank & something, for someplace dpt."
Sad but true D;
Bingo. "Some rank of something for someplace dept."
And then underneath that is:
ph LIs 9~-
em nsﯼm
fax ~~ﭪ
"Yay! Fake Promotion." Who ever thought that people would get a moral boost by everyone having a fancy title should be killed by a thousand business card cuts.
You also get to work harder for the same pay rate! Woo Hoo!
And take a furlough! (You take every second friday off... no extra pay... and no change in deadlines)
(This did not happen to me, it is just a thing that can happen D: )

...and he was AD 27-66, which just goes to prove that there's nothing new under the sun, really!
Wow, I wonder what other management gems can be dug up in acient text! :)
I worked for a company that was stable until they hired a new CEO. He kept reorganizing and I kept changing cards, until I decided on a minimalist card. Company name, my name, "Specialist", email, phone. Shortly after that they changed the company name.
We just... can't... win! hahaha

I don't know if you've seen this, but it's basically just made of awesome.
Talking about betting your life on your work!
I did, it was in my engineering link roundup last week on the blog!
Haha, it doesn't seem very Energy Wise to print up so many business cards!
