I always wondered what the point the of large windows windows were.... If the view was rubbish. Or even if they showed onto ANOTHER ROOM. Meh. You can always become a contortionist and then get the house.

Hah, now Cog must suffer with us as we wait.

If you get that home, you could just plaster your window with a bunch of your art as huge advertisement!

It'd double as a warning to potential robbers that you're a starving artist with nothing worth stealing.

oh god! House hunting ABSOLUTELY BLOWS especially if you want to live within any reasonable distance from vancouver. There were days where the only things on craigslist under 750 were in surrey or someone's living room.

I've actually uttered the phrase "Hey, I can afford that! Oh wait, that's what they charge per day."

Having just finished a month long hunt, spike, my heart goes out to you

Oh come on, North Van doesn't snow THAT much more than Vancouver... It just rains about eight times as much.

They keep building houses higher up the mountain every year, especially in West Van. At some point up there, some years, all that rain falls as snow. Steep roads, wet slippery snow, I don't know how they manage.

Yeah, but in London it's worse, at least Vancouver gets you a relatively nice locale - outside of Hastings I guess.
