They name them that way, I figure, to make their target market of fifteen year olds feel more extreme.

A rose by any other name will still make you bleed from its thorns...
I have a hard time riding a bike in a deserted parking lot. My mother says I'm very talented, though. :)
Haha, this is one of the funniest strips in a while!
I think its cause those people who named them are messed up in the head and are really sadistic
So, can you make it all the way down bouncing like that? I find the second to fourth bounce usually kills my forward progress.
The ski runs at Whistler aren't much better. "The Schoolmarm"?
So weird! I just read "Heart of Darkness" for school!
I note the Psycho Squirrel is back.
Also, Fuzzy Kittens! EXTREEEEEEME!
Someday someone needs to explain what the big deal about Bike Parks. What makes it better then riding against traffic?
OH snaps! You were in Kelowna, and I didn't stalk you for your autograph! I feel like I've let myself down.
Where abouts did you ride? I live there, you see, and my mother in-law sees the Greenway as "extreme" cause there are rocks "gasp". (Just kidding about the stalking >.> )
"Deathy Death". Now that's just plain 'ol awesome. XD
@Komitadjie: We tried to make Deathy Death with a shovel and a hose when I was 13. It's a lot of work to make a trail unusable, but we did our best. ;)
So if they are trying to appeal to the younger audience by naming the easy course awesome names... then... "A serenade for the death of samurai" would be the easiest course ever and the "lovely toast" would be the hardest.
There's a really bumpy bike trail near me that my dad and his friends ride on...I'm not sure if it's the actual name or not, but they all call it Blue Balls.
Oh gosh, first time to your webcomic and I see this awesome viewpoint of the loops. Nice!
@Ranorath one of the harder trails at Whistler is called "Captain Safety" hahaha
Fuck yeah, Kamloops
Samurai Pizza Cats!? Hahaha! I used to love that show!
Lol, There are a bunch of bike trails that you can use to cut though my town (i live in California) and there's this REALLY STEEP hill that everyone calls the suicide drop. I love biking to school XD
I live in Iowa so our bike trails have numbers and are REALLY LONG AND FLAT AND BORING JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE STATE BLAHHHHHHH
Well at least you can get to where you're going in one piece. (hint of advice, if you live in an area where there's chances of mudslides, don't bike to school when its raining. Turns out, they don't let you in if you are dripping mud.)
i lieks teh kitties, how was it?
Rofl. I hope that really didn't happen...
i laughed at "deathly deaath" ^_^
Looks like that kitten's got some *CLAWS!!!"
And looks vaguely like the Red Dragon from Bone.
