The man in the comic is no one in particular, just an amalgamation of everyone from the previous generation who keeps telling us the same things over and over (and over) again. Kind of fitting, since it was just yesterday at a formal ball when I had to sit through an hour of this shpiel.[web][/web]

*sigh* Too true.
I wonder how much of these problems can be traced directly to politicians?
Well, at least they don't deny it?
I would be laughing if it weren't *true*...
The guy in this strip looks like Colonel Sanders from Kfc...
I just had nto mention that for no reason really.
Tons of stupid American rubbish made the stupid ozone hole OVER MY PRETTY LITTLE COUNTRY. -cries-

This stupid American is running mostly green. But being in Texas, its pretty hard to get a green car.
If there were smart trucks though we would be seeing everyone driving one.
This stupid Icelander has decided to buy a bike and not a car! ^^
Of course, I will get a driving license, but not a car.
Gosh I know it wasn't all the stupid Americans,
I'm just saying, America's big and has lots of trash.
I'm know NZ's not helping itself with all the fucking Remuera tractors ands stuff.

I know, its just i have an issue with being labeled. I too think most Americans are wasteful and lazy. But sadly being American, I too get called that.
At least people don't think you're hobbits who are in love with sheep.

Wow that is pretty harsh.
shh its true but >.> Bwahaha!! *flee*
we are so the bob the builder generation!
CAN WE FIX IT??
Maybe. Let me finish this game and I'll get back to you.
What really gets me is that every generation past gets some kind of glory bestowed on it by it's own historians. "The greatest generation" is the generation of people who killed 25 million people in war. The baby boomers are the result of drastic overpopulation of the planet (making it roughly impossible to live a eco-sustainable lifestyle) and partly the cause as well along with in the US polarizing everyone due to ignorance and hate. Generation X brought the material girl, and by way of guys chasing girls, the material boy (some argument can be made as to the chicken vs egg). Generation Y, charged with undoing everything that has happened in the last 100+ years... I hope we do, but I don't see it happening.
You'd better flee Mew_chan :P This NZer's out to get you now
our generation has to fix it?
the earth is soooooo fucked.
one thing comes true of this though, engineers are the gods that will save all our hides, that and other scientists
btw, is science considered a religion yet?
