In my entire life, this is the closest I've ever come to someone calling me "not crazy". Normalcy was never the goal, of course, and the older I get the less I care about such things but this signals to me that I've become pretty good at faking normal!

Congrats ;-)
But... I just wonder in what place is the scene located, with so much hysterical kids running around?
The squid's first birthday party!
Ooh! Did they have those little bags with the sweets and stuff in for each kid to take home?! I love those bags, best part of any party!
My birthday is near the end of summer and when I was a wee nugget my mom made me give out gift folders. With school supplies. They were Lisa Frank folders, but they still sucked massively as party favors.
I think your bigger concern is the pile of babies on the floor. The baby pile of zombie-like babies.
Indeed, why doesn't this comic have the 'pile of babies' tag?
It does now! https://www.wastedtalent.ca/tags/pile-o-babies
That's how babies group. You got a pride of lions, a murder of crows, and a pile-o-babies.
I especially love how you are being called normal *while you crawl up on a counter to avoid babies*.
Just having this conversation with my bf the other day! What comic convention are you headed to? We are headed to SDCC in a couple weeks!
I recently finished my 2012 circuit :)
"...pretty good at faking normal"
IIRC, it goes like this; The secret to success is sincerity. Once you can fake that, you've got it made!
Congratulations! So, what's it like for someone to think you're normal?
