Donations through Shop Havn't been Working

It was brought to my attention that the donation option when your checking out through the Wasted Talent shop hasn't been working, the amount you choose to donate is not being charged.

Thanks for all those who have ordered Jam/Angela’s new book and for also choosing to give her a donation for her hard work. Unfortunately there was an unknown bug in the shop system with the donation option. PayPal wasn’t getting the total with the donation because of a weird way that line items work with PayPal.

So none of you were charged the amount you chose to donate. Because of this none of your orders in our shop system were being marked as processed because the order total was not equal to the amount PayPal was reported as paid. I’ve gone through and manually updated all your orders as processed now.

But if you still want to donate to Wasted Talent you can manually send your donation to jam@wastedtalent.ca through www.paypal.com using the “Send Money” tab.

The problem on http://www.wastedtalent.ca/shop should be fixed now for future orders.
