Scare Stories
Ok so Jam's recent comic, (#507 for anyone wondering), reminded me of the many pranks my family pulled on each other countless times while I was a kid. My sister and I were especially good at scaring my little brother. I'm sure nearly everyone has several halarious stories of them scaring someone or being scared by someone. I want to hear them!!!
My grandmother is a huge fan of the new Lord of the Rings movies and as strange as it may sound her favorite character is Smeagol (not Gollum, he's terrifying). While surfing Ebay with my mother we found a life size cardboard cut out of Smeagol that we knew she would love and only for $5 so we bid and sure enough we win. One week later we get our prize and open it up to find....not Smeagol...Gollum, a very very very angry looking Gollum looking like he had finaly snapped compleatly. We knew we couldn't send this to my grandmother without killing her with a heart attack so we ended up stuck with it. What would you do with a life sized cardboard cut out of Gollum? Place it on the toilet facing the bathroom door in the middle of the night!!! This of course resulted in much screaming followed by laughing and the obligatory re-use of Gollum until our entire family was unsuprised to see the vicious looking creature everywhere (guests to our house were not so lucky).
