I thought this might be fun :)
THE RULES:
Each post must contain a Haiku (but can contain other things, too).
A Haiku is a poem that has a 5-7-5 syllable structure.
Your Haiku must BEGIN with the LAST word of the previous Haiku.
Bonus points if you can pull off a limerick ;)
I'll start! :D
Noisy traffic fights
with a beautiful spring day.
The cost of city life.

Life. Sometimes it sucks.
But even then, no real choice
but to enjoy it ^_^
^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
This haiku assumes that ^_^
Is one syllable
Syllables I count,
Without reward in my sight,
To fashion this poem.
Poem writing is fun
To write seven syllables
Is my only goal
A long day at work
Begs to be forgotten now.
Come, my sweet bourbon.
Bourbon is the name
Of the bar from which I came.
The beer was tasty,
The chicks were pasty,
But now that it is sunny
Maybe that will change?
(yeah i know its terrible, but im drunk and wanted some bonus points! PLUS I really was just at a bar called the Bourbon!)
Change of socks for me,
For stinky feet, I have no need,
To find and drink mead.
Mead? Where is the Mead?
For I only see orange
juice where i am sat
Sat. is a fun day.
Much better than Mon. or Tues.
Another day off.
Off to the sea bus
To meet my mother in law.
Had to clean the house.
House's Finale
For this season's new cast.
Many excited.
Excited we run,
Away from the explosion,
Everything gone.
edit: everything gone (5) or if you say everything as (3) then everything is gone (5)
Gone was the morning
Fearful approach of the night,
Until the new light.
Light does approach me,
A fresh new day has just dawned,
Fuck insomnia.
Insomnia wins
the weekend again. Late nights
foretell rough mornings.
Insomnia sucks
OCD Is much better
Look at miss Hannelore
I pronounce Hannelore so it sounds almost like hamlore so i think it works.
Edit: fixed the stupid mistake
Hannelore, my dear
You never stop freaking out
Just go get laid, hun
Hun(s) are attacking,
Their composite bow strings ping,
All who live will die.
Die, roll you number.
Your judgement, I will abide.
My love, d20.
D20 is thrown
numbers determine your fate
hope fights back fear
Fear strikes the heart,
We are swallowed by darkness,
Behind us, footsteps.
Footsteps all around
A welcome relief from life
Friends make the heart soar
Soar above the hills
sleep beneath the stratosphere
The rare puffy cloud
Cloud, you fight evil
Never stopping for yourself
Always helping others
Others plot and scheme
I alone hold all the keys:
Toward destiny!
destiny or fate
they are exactly the same
they don't affect me
Me, oh woe is me,
The washing machine is br0k,
No clean clothes for work.
Working and playing
late nights and alcohol
disagree with me
Me versus the clock.
As the weekend hours dwindle,
all my plans collapse.
Collapse grand design,
We need a new master plan,
World Domination
