It's only when they accidentally call you 'mum' that you need to get seriously worried...

The team-building rave sounds fun!

(BTW: pressing the right arrow while on the latest page goes to /comic/undefined, which unfortunately doesn't exist :P)

Seems that it is a Bike Polo thing... http://leagueofbikepolo.com/forum/general/2010/12/15/knife-fights

Seems right. East Van is even mentioned in that thread. A search for "bike polo knife fight" on youtube actually renders a video that shows the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBjc-pgV7cM

Oh, and there also seems to be a band named "Bicycle knife fight", but that seems to be in Chicago. Google still didn't fail :)

Hey, you're one-up in coolness and relevance compared to me (a twenty-something city kid, as my older coworkers so kindly describe me) since I would have politely declined the rave. Not that a team-building rave would work for my job. But, you know, the thought. And stuff.

Probably a lot more dangerous than Robot Knife Fight, which in its current incarnation is a teaching platform where you program small mobile computers to chase each other around and pop each other's balloons.

Should I be worried that my company doesn't just sponsor raves, they also have an official rule on the books "no hot-tub stories at meetings"?
