[Red] Laser Vision - Part 4

There hasn't been much change in the last, uh, while. I can see more or less fine now. Museums aren't the greatest (poorly lit placards at the back of the case suck!) and at the end of a long Excel-intensive day, I have to skooch up the font a size. I'm hoping those go away.

When I decided to get zapped, I just thought about day-to-day stuff. I thought about swimming, and waking up first thing in the morning. Now that it's been about a month, I have to say it's the little things that make me glad I took the step. I'm not going to claim this is a comprehensive list, but here are the little things:

- Being able to tell the difference between shampoo and conditioner bottles at a glance
- Going out in the rain without rain drops hanging around
- Not having smudged lenses
- Seeing when i get out of the shower (steam-free)
- Seeing your reflection in your pupils when you get close to the mirror (seriously, I never knew this was possible)
- Wearing real sunglasses
- Napping without fear of crunching glasses on face/face on glasses
- Wearing normal safety glasses
- Costumes that don't involve glasses in some way/shape/form (haven't done this one yet, but I can't wait)
- Coming inside when it's cold out and not fogging up
- Falling off the climbing wall and not having glasses fall off when you hit
- Getting a drink in the middle of the night

The bad:
- When I get really tired, I get nice dark circles under my eyes. Glasses helped to hide this.

Was it worth it? Absolutely.

NIce article. You should try putting some cucumber in your dark circles, as well as shredded potato-- I think this really work because it works for me.
