Wasted Talent in 2009...

Hey team! Thank you all so much for your warm wishes and congratulations.. We are floored by the response! While I have nothing very interesting to share, visually, I wanted to write a "life update" and share some of the things you can look forward to in 2009.

1) Re: the engagement - I've put a post on livejournal with a lot more detail on how it happened and some pics of the ring :D I finally feel like I'm coming back to normal, work helps.

2) As a present to myself, I bought a fancy pants new phone! I can now internet from anywhere with signal (like right now!) so you'll hopefully see more blog posts, forum response, twitter activity & email response! But, like now, I may have to post in parts as I find random short times to write thoughout the day :)

3) Comics! I will continue to post once a weekish, on an undetermined day. I still haven't found the perfect balance, special events (like, uh, the holidays) really throw me out of whack. Next comic is in the mid-inks, hopefully will be posted soon. I really want to draw more comics (in general) and I'm trying to figure out the best way(s) to get the most bang for my comicking buck. One of my long term goals is to comick faster, but I haven't yet figured out the "hows" of that one.

4) A better WT "experience"... I plan to upgrade several parts of the site ... eventually sometime, in an effort to make Wasted Talent.ca a more engaging and interesting place to be. I'll have to be a bit vague on this one because I don't want to bind myself to anything I can't promise, but I'm excited about the ideas that I have and I'm enjoying getting creative with the "problem". That is what I do.
